Terms of Sale

  • One (1) year limited warranty – ACME Portable Parts and Labor
  • Refunds and exchanges are allowed within 30 days of original invoice date. Exclusion: Integrated portable system and custom order sales are final, no returns, refunds, or replacements.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable
  • All returns require a RMA number and must include a copy of the invoice
  • The standard service labor rate is $85.00/hr for non-warranty items
  • A flat evaluation fee of $85.00 applies to all non-warranty repairs

  • COD Cashier Check (new customers)
  • COD Company Check (Subject to approval)
  • Net 15 (on approved credit)
  • Net 30 (Government/Fortune 500)
  • Wire transfer (International Sales)
  • $20 charge on returned checks
  • Claims for shortages must be made within 5 working days

All sales are subject to the following terms & conditions:

All products are shipped at Buyer’s risk, and ACME Portable’s responsibility for loss or damage of products ceases upon delivery to the carrier, or to Buyer or Buyer’s agent at ACME Portable’s facility. Buyer shall bear all applicable federal, state, and other government taxes as well as import or custom duties (for International sales), license fees and similar charges. ACME Portable retains (and Buyer grants to ACME Portable by submitting a purchase order) a security interest in the Products to secure payment in full and compliance with all sales agreements. In the event that the sales invoice shall be placed in collection, Buyer agrees to pay any and all costs associated with such placement, including without limitation, attorney’s fees and other creditor rights proceeding.

Service & Return Policy

Prior to returning any merchandise either for service or credit, an RMA number must be obtained from ACME Portable’s Tech Support Deparment. An RMA number can be obtained by calling(626) 610-1888 Ext.166 or emailing support@acmepm.com. Please have your invoice ready when calling to expedite this process. Merchandise must be shipped back to ACME Portable Machine, Corp., freight prepaid in its original container, including all original disks, manuals, accessories and a copy of the invoice. Returns for refund or credit with missing manuals, disks or accessories will be refused. Please mark the RMA# on the shipping label when returning unit to ACME Portable Machine, Corp.

A flat diagnostic fee of $85.00 applies to all non-warranty repairs. The diagnostic fee is not refundable, but will be credited towards your actual repair cost. The standard service labor rate is $85.00/hr for non-warranty items.

Starting on 09/01/2008, RMA numbers must be issued within 30 days from the original invoice date. No refunds or exchanges beyond 30 day is authorized unless previously agreed by Acme Portable Machine, Corp. in writing. All portable system sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted for portable systems and/or customized units. Return merchandise must be received by Acme Portable Machine, Inc within 45 day of the original invoice date to qualify for a full credit. A 25% restocking fee will be charged to products received after 45 day. System components and softwares can not be returned for credit. RMA numbers for return and credit are valid for 30 days after issuance. All products returned for credit including evaluation items must be in original condition and in entirety for a full refund. A minimum 25% restocking fee will apply to damaged items and items with missing accessories.

Limited Warranty

ACME Portable Machine, Corp. warrants its products for (12) months from date of shipment against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is rendered void if the product has been changed, altered or modified significantly without expressed written consent from ACME Portable. Warranty is also void if the product has become defective due to acts of God, negligence, abuse or misuse.

ACME Portable makes no warranties, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness of our products for a particular purpose. ACME Portable shall not be liable for any special, consequential, incidental, punitive or exemplary damages, including but not limited to lost income, loss of use, lost data or any sums paid by Buyer to third parties.

ACME Portable Machine, Corp. reserves the right to repair or replace defective products during the warranty period.
